Pocahontas is my favorite Disney princess. It's probably because she was one of two POC during my childhood. I loved her strong personality. Her foot has a tattoo of Meeko...my favorite Disney sidekick :)

I figured Snow White would be a little preppy thus the sweater and shirt underneath. I'm trying to stick to each princess' main color scheme. Her bag is by "Dwarfz".

Jasmine is my 2nd favorite Disney princess. I still have the VHSs...may what it tonight. I kept her outfit simple and she has her classic ponytail. I also added Rajah to her hand.

Day 09/366

So I fell behind but I'm caught up now. Had to figure out how to make the scale pattern in Illustrator for the leggings and tentacle. I really like how she came out. The necklaces charms are a fork and potion bottle aka her voice. Also I love freckles! I may have a freckle themed week...IDK

Day 08/366

The next 7 days are Disney Princess theme and I'm kicking it off with Cinderella. My idea is to do winter outfits on them. 

I went with the blue color scheme of Cinderella's ballroom gown. The glass slipper on her sweater and carriage on her purse. Look at that rock on her finger.

Day 7 • ALL • Day 9

Day 07/366

This is something I've been meaning to illustrate for over a year now. Its based on an actual conversation I had with my friend and co-worker, Audrey. She literally said "I have a white girl question" while holding her Starbucks re-usable cup. It was hilarious and I was taken back. I told her one day I'd illustrate this interaction.

Well it's just BLACK GIRL MAGIC!!!

But fr fr my hair has a lot of shrinkage after I wash it. Audrey isn't the first person to ask me if I cut my hair. I mean one day I have this huge fluffy 'fro then the next I have a twa(teeny weeny afro). My shrinkage is crazy...like a good 4-6 inches. That's what happens when you have them corkscrew curls.

I missed doing these types of illustration. Winter fashion in effect
